If Mom likes bargain hunting and local crafts, Laytonville’s Second Sunday Market could be a Mother’s Day weekend stop. The monthly market returns this Sunday with food vendors, plant starts, handmade goods and flea market finds along Highway 101. Organizers say the event first started after the cannabis downturn hurt local incomes and residents needed new ways to make money. The market runs from 10am to 3pm Sunday next to La Casona del Cielo in Laytonville.
