The city of Clearlake is stepping into a leadership role in the ongoing response to the Robin Lane sewage spill. Officials now say more than 200 homes that rely on private wells have been affected, far more than initially reported. Clearlake and the Lake County Office of Emergency Services are now sharing command of the recovery effort as concerns grow over clean water access. The spill released nearly three million gallons of raw sewage and continues to disrupt daily life for residents.
