Mendocino County’s CEO has announced her retirement. Darcie Antle announced plans to step down at the end of a 2-day workshop for board supervisors earlier this week. Antle thanked the board for allowing her to serve the county, and listed several accomplishments during her tenure, including securing funding for a behavioral wing at the county jail, modernizing the county’s payroll and financial systems, and normalizing cannabis. Antle stated, “Relationships have been built, organizational behavior has developed, culture is changing, and we’re breaking down silos between departments.” Antle’s contract with the county was set to expire this summer…she says her retirement will be effective at the end of June.
