Prescribed fire work is continuing today after crews wrapped up a successful burn Thursday in the Bartlett Springs area. Firefighters treated about 15 acres and have shifted operations to the North Shore project near High Valley Road and the Lakeview campground. If conditions cooperate, crews hope to complete work on as many as 34 acres. Fire officials are thanking nearby residents and visitors for keeping safety in mind during the ongoing burn activity.
