What started as a traffic stop on the Round Valley Indian Reservation turned into a dangerous confrontation Saturday night after a suspect allegedly tried to evade deputies near the Hidden Oaks Convenience Store. Investigators say the vehicle maneuvered around patrol units before slamming into a Round Valley Tribal Police cruiser. Officers later recovered suspected methamphetamine and an AR-15 upper receiver from the vehicle before arresting one suspect. Authorities say no officers or community members were hurt during the incident.
