Lakeport Police say a man accused in a violent stabbing at Xabatin Community Park is now behind bars. Investigators arrested 38-year-old Brian Voravongsa Monday morning after reviewing surveillance video tied to the attack. The victim, a 36-year-old Lakeport resident, was found Sunday night suffering from multiple stab wounds and had to be airlifted out of the area for emergency treatment. Police say Voravongsa has a lengthy violent criminal history and was also wanted for violating his post-release supervision terms.
