Investigators are still working to track down the driver in a deadly hit-and-run in Lake County. The California Highway Patrol says 60-year-old Candy May Henderson and her dog were killed earlier this month while crossing Highway 20 in Clearlake Oaks. The car involved, a blue Ford Focus, was found abandoned, but the person behind the wheel is still out there. Troopers say they’re making progress and are asking for the public’s help. A memorial service is also being planned to honor Henderson and her dog.
