A suspected burglar didn’t get far after being confronted by a homeowner in Yorkville. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Luther Lane was tracked down shortly after the incident Tuesday morning. Investigators say the homeowner caught him with stolen property and got those items back before the suspect took off. Deputies spotted him nearby on Highway 128 and made the arrest. He’s now in custody on $100,000 bail facing a burglary charge.
