The City of Clearlake is calling on all residents and visitors to grab their cameras—or just their smartphones—for the newly launched Clearlake Photo Challenge. The contest, which officially kicked off April 1, is centered around the theme “Our People. Our Progress.” City officials say they are looking for original images that capture the spirit of growth, everyday life, and the unique faces that make Clearlake home. You have until April 30 to submit your best shots. Winners won’t just get bragging rights—they’ll receive gift cards and citywide recognition.: Top photographers will be invited to a special lunch with Mayor Dirk Slooten and will see their work featured on a mural in the City Hall lobby.
