The public is invited to honor fallen Deputy Sheriff George “Bob” Davis later today. Davis was killed in the line of duty 31 years ago today, while investigating a homicide in Covelo. Davis was a Navy Seal, a father, husband, and son. A memorial service honoring Davis will be held at the Willits Justice Center at 6pm this evening.
