A wanted burglary suspect is back in custody after a tense standoff in Lakeport. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Matthew Alan Wratislaw was located Friday, pulled a gun, and climbed onto a rooftop before finally surrendering. He’s also accused in a burglary last week and had escaped custody after jumping out of a moving ambulance. Deputies told neighbors to shelter in place while they worked to get him down safely Friday. Wratislaw is now being held without bail, facing several felony charges.
