You may have felt the earth move this morning, southwest of Covelo. The U.S. Geological Survey says two small earthquakes with preliminary magnitudes of 3 and 2.6 occurred just before noon. No damage is reported. Another quake–a 2.5 magnitude–also rattled an area north of Willits on Wednesday.
