A new study shows the effects of pandemic remote learning are still being felt when it comes to students heading to college. Researchers found fewer students enrolled after the 2020-2021 school year, with noticeable drops in financial aid applications and ACT testing. They say one big reason is students had less access to teachers and counselors who normally help guide them through the process. The impact hit harder in lower-income schools, where the drop in college enrollment was significantly worse.
