There’s been a break in that deadly shooting case out of Covelo. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office says a 16 year old suspect is now in custody after trying to run from officers in Oroville. Investigators say the situation started with a domestic violence incident and ended with a 38 year old woman being shot and killed. Officers tracked the teen down at a restaurant before catching him after a short chase. He’s now being held in a juvenile facility, with investigators sayig more charges are likely.
