After a few tough years, commercial salmon fishing is making a comeback off the California coast. Officials say better fish numbers, thanks in part to wetter winters, are allowing the season to reopen. The plan is moving through the approval process, with federal sign-off still needed. Even with the return, there will be limits on when and how much can be caught. If all goes as expected, boats could be back out fishing starting in May.
