State parks leaders and local officials got a close look at Clear Lake State Park earlier this month as work begins on a new long-term plan for the park. Commissioners toured the Kelseyville park March 4, visiting campgrounds, the beach and other areas while discussing future improvements and opportunities. The updated general plan is meant to guide how the park develops and protects resources over the next two decades. Officials say a draft could be ready later this year, with the final plan potentially completed next summer.
