
A feasibility study for an expansion or relocation of the library in Ukiah is on hold. Library officials have told the board of supervisors they want to wait until money is available or the need becomes more serious before doing that study. Second District Supervisor Maureen Mulheren says she didn’t know the library had stopped work on the plans and that she will bring the issue up again for further review. Mulherin says the library is important to the community for more than just the books it lends, so she would like to have more discussion about its future
