A new tire shop could soon be coming to Clearlake if city planners give the green light tonight. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposal to turn the former Carpet Man property on Redwood Street into a full-service tire and alignment center. City documents say the business would focus on tire work and alignments only, without major mechanical or body repairs. The meeting starts at 6pm at Clearlake City Hall. Staff members say the project fits with the city’s future development plans.
