Area police agencies are marking National Bike Safety Month. They’re urging drivers –and bike riders–to be safety aware as more folks take to the streets on two wheels as summer approaches. For drivers, that means slowing down and looking carefully at intersections and not blocking bike paths at intersections. For riders, they say visibility and predictability are key–and so is wearing a helmet, even on short trips or if you think it looks funny.
