There’s a meeting coming up in Fort Bragg that zeroes in on the cleanup of the old mill site. Project-HERE is bringing in a geologist from a consulting firm to break down what contamination is still there and what can be done about it. This one’s focused strictly on environmental safety, not future development. They’ll also go over new findings, including some citizen-led testing of mussels near Soldier Point. The meeting on May 7th is set for 5:30 at Town Hall, with an option to join in online.
