The Mendocino County Department of Planning and Building Services is pausing inspections and plan reviews for a few days early next month. The department says it is conducting mandatory training Monday, May 4th, through Thursday, May 7th, so there will be no routine activities during those days. They will pick up on Friday, May 8th. The department says it will fit in as many of those reviews as it can on the 8th, so if you anticipate needing those services, you should plan and submit those requests as soon as possible. The state requires 45 hours of inspector training every 3 years, including at least 8 hours of training on disability access requirements.
