A big step forward for healthcare in Mendocino County is happening this week. Crews will break ground Friday on a new behavioral health and dental facility in Redwood Valley. The goal is to expand care, especially for Native and rural communities, with services like therapy and addiction treatment. It’ll also include 16 dental stations to help meet demand for basic and preventive care. The project is being funded through a mix of state, federal, and tribal support to improve access for years to come.
