Clearlake is putting money behind a new push to help adults get back into college and finish what they started. The City Council approved $80,000 this week for a partnership with Woodland Community College aimed at reaching people who left school without a degree. The program focuses on adults over 24, offering support, skill-building, and help connecting to resources. It also includes a recovery support position, using some of the city’s opioid settlement funds to make it happen. Leaders say it’s a way to open doors while tackling bigger issues in the community.
