A big transition is ahead for one of Mendocino County’s main food support groups. Mendo Food Network says Executive Director Amanda Friscia is stepping down in September after nearly a decade leading the organization. During her time, she helped guide food distribution through the pandemic and expanded services to reach more people across the county. The search for her replacement is now underway, but officials say day-to-day operations won’t miss a beat.
