There’s more shakeup in Lake County leadership, this time in public health. The Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday night to fire Public Health Officer Dr. Robert Bernstein after only seven months in the role. At the same time, they brought back Dr. Anju Goel as interim to step in right away. This comes just weeks after the county also removed its Health Services director. So far, officials haven’t said exactly why the change was made.
