If you’ve noticed rough asphalt patches on Fort Bragg sidewalks, the city says they’re part of a bigger project. Officials say the temporary repairs are tied to construction of a citywide fiber-optic broadband network. Crews are currently installing underground conduit before running the fiber lines to homes and businesses. The city says permanent sidewalk fixes will come once the broadband installation is finished.
