A house fire in Clearlake Tuesday evening brought a fast response from local firefighters. Crews with the Lake County Fire Protection District were called to Konocti Street just before 6 p.m., arriving to find heavy smoke pouring from the structure. Firefighters went inside and contained the fire in about 11 minutes. Crews stayed for roughly an hour afterward making sure the fire was fully out, and no injuries were reported.
