Clearlake city leaders are preparing to decide who will handle animal control services moving forward. The City Council will review a $375,000 contract from the Clearlake Animal Association, the only organization to submit a proposal. The city terminated its previous animal control agreement last summer. Officials say negotiations on the final scope of work are still underway. A decision is expected during Thursday night’s council meeting.
