Caltrans is offering one North Coast student a chance to jump-start a future career in transportation. District 1 has opened applications for a $2,250 scholarship available to high school seniors and college undergrads from Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino counties. The program is aimed at students interested in improving safety, protecting the environment, or strengthening transportation across California communities. Applications are due by June 19th.
