
California is giving drivers another digital option to leave the wallet at home, at least partially. The California Department of Motor Vehicles says its mobile driver’s license now works with Samsung Wallet, expanding the pilot program. More than 1.7 million people are already using digital IDs, which can be used at airport security, some stores, and even for online services.
