A major healthcare fraud crackdown is underway in Southern California. Federal officials say more than a dozen people are now facing charges tied to schemes that allegedly pulled in over $50 million. Some of those cases involve billing for patients who weren’t terminally ill or never even received care. The investigation, known as “Operation Never Say Die,” included raids across several cities and is still ongoing.
