A piece of history along the Mendocino coast is finally getting some attention. The old Manchester Schoolhouse, sitting empty for decades, has a new owner who wants to bring it back to life. The building dates back to 1907 and once served as the heart of the community including a schoolhouse and town hall. Right now, work is focused on stopping further damage before full renovations begin. The goal is to restore the schoolhouse while honoring its long history.
