Strong turnout across Lake County this weekend as “No Kings” protests draw about 1,000 people. The largest crowd, around 800, gathers in Lakeport, with additional demonstrations in nearby communities. Protesters lined the streets with signs and messages on a wide range of issues. Organizers say the turnout was even bigger than past events. It’s all part of a larger nationwide push happening at the same time.
