A piece of Fort Bragg history is coming back to life. The Grey Whale Inn has started a soft reopening, with a few renovated rooms now open while work continues on the rest of the building. The place dates back to 1915, when it first served as a hospital, and many locals still have personal ties to it. The new owners say they’re focused on keeping that character while giving it a fresh start. More of the inn is expected to open as renovations continue.
