A brutal case out of Lake County is moving forward, with a judge ordering a man to stand trial for killing his wife with a hammer. Prosecutors say Travis Bonson attacked her while she was asleep inside their Kelseyville home back in January. She died days later from her injuries, and now new charges could mean life without parole if he’s convicted. The court also added a “lying in wait” allegation, pointing to how the attack happened. Bonson is being held without bail and is due back in court April 14.
