Riders can head back out to the Upper Lake Ranger District after storm-related closures shut down more than 135 miles of OHV trails and several campgrounds. The Forest Service says heavy rain and wind left behind downed trees and unsafe conditions, but trails have now reopened. Officials are urging caution, particularly around blind corners, and asking visitors to report any hazards they spot. Firefighter training at Middle Creek Campground could mean extra activity in the area.
