Searchers are still looking for a missing backcountry skier, presumed dead after an avalanche in the mountains. 8 others are confirmed dead after the tragedy earlier this week, notfar from Lake Tahoe, the worst of its kind in California history. An avalanche warning remains in effect in that region.
