A man from Fort Bragg has been arrested in Siskiyou County and charged with transporting more than 1,300 pounds of illegally grown marijuana. Police say Shel Sanders had 74 bags of marijuana in the back of his Sprinter van when he was pulled over –along with a quarter million dollars in cash, a 40 caliber pistol hidden in the engine compartment. He is being held at the Siskiyou County jail.
