As winter weather settles in, the Fort Bragg Food Bank is asking the community to help keep unhoused neighbors warm. The food bank launched a cold-weather drive Wednesday seeking donations of tents, sleeping bags, rain gear, and warm clothing. Organizers say even gently used items can help protect people from dangerous cold and wet conditions. Residents are encouraged to clear out closets, garages, and camping gear and donate what they can. Drop-off hours and donation details are available from the food bank.
