Public input is wanted by residents in Fort Bragg about future Fourth of July fireworks shows. A community survey is being circulated to see if the city should keep putting on the traditional fireworks show or move to drone lights instead. The Mendocino Voice reports the idea for a drone light show comes at a time where these types of events are more popular as an alternative to fireworks. Also, some residents have voiced worry about air and water pollution, public safety, wildfire risk and the possible trauma triggers for veterans, plus pets being traumatized too. Worth a mention that wildfire risk is not that high along the Fort Bragg coast.
