Ukiah police have arrested a man after a search warrant tied to an investigation into drug sales and weapons possession. UPD says they began looking at Armando Garcia-Barrera of Mendocino County earlier this month after a tip, and that a search of his home and vehicles found drugs and what they call substantial evidence that Garcia-Barrera was involved in narcotics trafficking. They also say they found three illegal short-barreled AR-15 style assault rifles, two stolen .45 caliber pistols, two unserialized “ghost gun” style 9mm pistols, and a large caliber hunting rifle, plus ammo, body armor, and stolen property. Garcia-Barrera was booked into the county jail on several felony charges, with a bond set at a quarter million dollars.
