California just signed off on 1.1 billion dollars for new clean buses, charging stations and a long list of road and bridge fixes across the state. Lake County is getting a slice of that money too, with roughly 340,000 dollars going toward repairs and slide cleanup on Route 175 near Middletown. State officials say the push is part of a broader effort to modernize transportation and build more resilient communities. The funding blends SB 1 revenue with federal infrastructure money.
