You’ll see a credit on your electric and natural gas bills this month. It’s part of the state’s cap and trade program that rewards customers of electric utilities that participate. The P U C says the credits are automatic. Because the credit cycle doesn’t always coincide with the billing cycle it may not show up until your next statement. The Credit is applied every spring and fall. The next one is in October. PGE&E customers should see a credit of $55.17–regardless of your bill.
