
Ukiah is taking a closer look at how vulnerable its power grid could be to a cyber attack. The City Council will review a new security plan tonight, required by the state after a 2023 attack damaged more than a dozen transformers at a PG&E substation. Some of that plan won’t be made public, though. City officials say releasing the details could give someone a roadmap for causing trouble, so the council will go over the sensitive parts behind closed doors first.
