Stay out of the water at Lake Pillsbury for now. Lake County health officials say state testing found enough cyanobacteria and toxins to trigger a danger advisory for a harmful algal bloom. That means people should avoid contact with the affected water, and keep dogs out too. Don’t use untreated lake water for drinking or cooking either. Health officials will keep testing the lake and say the warning will be updated when conditions improve.
