The Middletown Art Center is inviting the community to pick up a paintbrush this Saturday at the Clearlake Oaks Boat Launch. From 9:30 to 1:30, visitors can help create the new “Gathering at the Water” mural while learning about the culture and ecology of Clear Lake from youth artists and members of the Elem Tribe. The event is free, open to all ages, and no artistic experience is needed. Lunch will be provided, and organizers encourage advance registration. The mural is part of the Art Center’s Rooted in Place community art program.
