PG&E is warning some Lake County customers to prepare for possible power outages starting this morning. The utility plans a Public Safety Power Shutoff from about 8:15 a.m. today through 4 p.m. Thursday in select areas because of strong winds and dry weather. The move is designed to lower the risk of wildfire ignition during hazardous conditions. Southern Lake County will also be under a Red Flag Warning from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 9 a.m. Thursday.
