Point Arena’s downtown bathrooms are closed until further notice after a string of nearly daily vandalism incidents. City leaders say the damage has ranged from broken sinks and plumbing to people vandalizing walls and other parts of the facility. Officials say every dollar spent on repairs is money that can’t be used for parks, city services and other community improvements. Residents are being asked to report suspicious activity to help prevent further damage and get the restrooms reopened.
