Preparedness is crucial as we head closer to fire season. Small businesses will get a chance to discuss their plans at an upcoming community meeting. The Lake County Chamber, the County Officer of Emergency Services, and the Lake County Economic Development Corporation will host a meeting aimed at small business on June 22nd in Kelesyville. Organizers say the idea is to make sure businesses have all the resources they need to make sure that they’re ready in case the worst happens. The meeting on the 22nd is from 3:30 to 5:00 at the Kelseyville Presbyterian CHurch on Third Street. While it is free, you’ll have to register first. The chamber of commerce has more information.
