Work continues on a safety improvement project on U S 101 in Ukiah that’s causing delays and ramp closures. Work includes roadway repaving, along with guardrail, median barrier, and lighting upgrades. The $45.9 million project is scheduled for completion by Spring 2027. On S. 101 from north of the Robinson Creek Bridge to Pomo Lane, motorists can expect minor slowdowns. Weeknight ramp closures will occur intermittently through October from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. at Route 253, Route 222 at Talmage Road, East Perkins Street, Gobbi Street, North State Street, and Lake Mendocino Drive. Motorists should use an alternate route.
